Gears of War 3 Dated (Official blah blah)

I need a new console so I am getting the Gears one. Anyone know if the transfer cable I used on my Elite (to get to 250GB) will work on the 'phat' to slim 320 transfer?
 
Just got a mail saying mine has been dispatched -.- Didn't have the money in my bank either, I do now as I've transferred but lets see what happens.
 
Not sure if this will affect you but epic have said if you have the Veteran Gears achievement from Gears 2 and you get the game early then you shouldn't play it before the 20th or you won't get the gold weapons.
Although I think game have said orders won't arrive early as they'll be held with the courier til the 20th.
 
Yeah I know its sucks, but I really want the gold weapons! :p

Ninja Edit: Also I have the 20th off of work as part of my rota so thats made me pretty happy. :D
 
Just wondering if lets say Couriers just shipped them anyway how would purple shirts even know? Will they ask for tracking numbers and check them also?

I guess they actually possibly don't even give them to courier till 18/19th maybe.
 
Game have just dispatched my epic edition as well.....trouble is, I forgot I pre ordered it and I don't really want it any more.
I'm guessing I could return it to a Game store for a refund?

Yeah you can, Take your receipt that will be in the box/bag however they ship keep it sealed and wont be an issue.

Mine hasn't been dispatched thou boo! Not that we will get it anyway :(
 
Had this on pre-order, epic edition as well but cancelled it earlier today as i havent got any time to play games that much these days...too busy with the missus and doing stuff with her ie going out and enjoying life rather tnan sitting at home wasting my life playing games.

I'll probably pick it up in a few mths when i get some time to play it.

Im hoping that is the typical dig at people who enjoy games? So what if you spend couple hours inside playing a game it isnt wasting life aslong as you do other things also..

I'm in two minds to be honest....I'm a sucker for collectors editions, and this one seems to be one of the better releases.
Still, £100......allot to drop on a game
 
Im going for the normal version of this. The silver tin version just seemd to be the tin and as for the Epic edition I dont really go a lot on the extras, in a years time will I care I have a medal or the last effects stuff? Probably not!

Will spend the extra cash on the season pass. I guess £35 is the cheapest now. Gotta order a copy for my dad for his birthday :D
