Counter Strike: Source night!

I'd like to request de_port be added to the map rotation, I think it'd be nice to have more long range maps on there :)
 
ok so I've tried a couple of servers since I jumped back in but I'm sure my settings be off as
a)my crosshair looks dumb
b)I'm sure that my mouse didn't used to move at 1 inch intervals
c)do I suck THAT hard?

so can anyone give me an idea of what CVar etc I should be checking / setting or is the default pretty much it?
 
Yes you probably do suck that hard

Bullets kill so quickly in CS that its all about speed, and accuracy of your aim. Practice practice practice.

As for your mouse, that will just be sensitivity. Adjust it in the options. You can adjust your crosshair in there too.
 
I had a mis spent youth playing CS. Days and days of playtime with various clans etc..

When i left uni and went to work, and had a family to think about i stopped playing it.

only now getting back into it again, but i'm nowhere near as good as i used to be and finding it really hard. I do have the odd moment, but don't seem to have the reactions i used too !
 
same, my reactions are crap now compared to my england TFC days and quake 3 days! still did 25-0 on the server other night :D i still have my times but nowhere near as good as i used to be! so wish i had some videos of my TFC days :(

there are some scarily good young teenages gaming now compared to the 90's!
 
I will have to try and catch a game with you guys sometime.

Not really been into much gaming recently, mainly HoN when ever I have the time, but playing MW2 with some friends last night I remembered how much fun it is seeing your name top of the scoreboard :D Although I was never that good at CS:S :(

What day/time are you guys usually on?

I'd hate to see you in your prime then... I am a fraction of my former self but even at my best I don't think I would have matched you t'other night!

Most days at around 8pm is when most people start playing, normally until around 10ish. If you are in the Steam group there are occasionally notifications to tell the group members that there are players on. (The games are usually set up on Saturday nights.)

Remember guys that it's not a private server, anyone from anywhere can join, remember to invite friends and friends of friends. :)
