haha its made only for the pc dont be silly :D they wouldnt lie to us loyal pc players :p

It still has to be certified by ms and sony for their consoles, same as any game or demo. Whats the fact that the pc is the main dev platform got to do with it?

because the whole game beta could be still controlled by the xbox , ps3 status . kinda funny with all the pc peacocks crowing how console nabs suck yet they still have to sit and wait because of them :D

Well its EA's call for it to be deployed on all platforms simaltaniously, more than likely to stop any complaints if any one platform gets it early =/

Was just playing MOH multi for a round or two, its scary how much of a turd that mp is, the weapons might as well all be laser blasters. Your hitbox also seems to do a good job of lagging way behind you, got killed several times when i was clearly behind thick cover, its almost like you get behind it you can still get hit like you're in the open.

Even the BF3 alpha felt more polished than that turd of a game.

I havent played MoH on the consoles but on the PC the MP hitbox detection is second to none, I've played many many hours online with friends on many different servers and never experienced what you describe. I wouldnt rule out a bad server or high pings causing those problems ....

The games still a vast turd regardless of server, dumbed down cod styled crap.

Ive always found moh to be spot on hit reg wise, (unlike bc2), bullet drop on weapons could do with being tweaked though.

What happened reminded me of how some source games play, everyones played tf2 and been running, got behind a wall then died a split second later (usually sniped) like they were still visible, that was essentially what happened.

Meh, only keeping it around for bf3 anyway.

Dont play it much theese days, though for me the bf3 alpha felt pretty similair, bc2 on the other hand feels completely different from either. Havent played tf2, but on various cod's and bc2 ive experienced what you describe. Often down to high pings in my case.

Movement wise i think BF3 feels like a slightly faster BC2, had the same weighty feel to it. The vaulting makes it seem a bit more fluid, weapojns wise it retained leading targets, aiming above targets etc. To me it felt like a far more refined Bc2.

MOH on the other hand just felt like a sad attempt at a total cod clone. Not a bit of wonder they included beta invites, not even ea were that happy with the final product (allegedly) so the invite was the hook for sales.

After playing the alpha, when going back to bc2 it felt clunky. But the weapon characteristics in both are/were spot on, ie bullet drop, leading etc. Though i hope to god that the ballistics of weapons in bf3 are more realistic than bc2, hate the idea of shotguns, pistols or sub machine guns being super accurate 100yd plus weapons, when in reality theyre max effective range is far less.

Sounds like a classic case of being lag shot, due to high ping as eekfek said. :)

Thats what theyre aiming for apparently, the alpha really did a poor job of showing sniper rifles in a good light, the damn round was hitting the floor after 5 feet virtually. You had to aim a stupid amount over enemies at a decent range to get the round to hit. All old news though with that build.

Doubt it, this used to be very common on the uk server i played on, (gtfo gaming). My ping to that was like 25 or so.

Though if the player who shot you had a high ping and was lagging, or again as eekfek said, server lag; man I forgot how confusing this high ping and getting lag shot is.
Thought I had it all sussed from my Special Force/Soldier Front days and playing on Korean/U.S. servers. :)

Bit like a bf2 mod i used to play, (scoutys sniper mod). Massive hold over required due to the ranges involved, 2000 yards+, you were able to snipe end to end on wake island.
