They should have released it for the PC first! It might bring some of the console boys back to PC Gaming.

Otherwise they will just accept the xbox/PS3 is the best platform to get it on. I know upgrading PC's is expensive but you pay for what you get. Yes the alpha still needed a lot of work but my god was it amazing! Imagine it on a console though - buggy as hell.

Many a time microsoft get the lead platform for games and get DLC earlier than Sony/PC so why not give us faithful pc gamers a treat and release it now?
 
Serious dilemma, want it to look amazing @ 1080p hence get pc version. All friends and family game on xbox 360 don't know anybody on pc platform. Hmmm decisions, hopefully the actual running of the console version will look a lot better than the things we have seen so far

Was in the exact same dilemma , Mates all talked me into it, even though i was diehard Pc gamer with BF2 and Bad Company 2, Even had Bad Company 2 on xbox and played it like three times and couldnt believe how ugly it looked and sluggish the game was, but still mates convinced me to pre order xbox version... sat and looked at screen and then looked at joypad... battlefield on joypad... kept going on around my head... Canceled Pre Order.

Ordered on Pc , i dont feel so dirty now! PC is defo where battlefield should be played.

Now im in middle of planning the upgrade , even though the Alpha played really well on my system but defo time for change.

lolol so true Spook, honestly i only play fifa on xbox now, and even now the Fifa 12 demo is much better GFX wise than the xbox version, but still... im forced to play fifa on xbox because thats where my mates play! Damn Them!!!

oh many a times ive had that thought lol... i try convince them to come away from xbox as its full of fags and kiddies , come to the more mature gaming community that is the pc... queue the big sighs from mates and the £££££ talk lol
 
It's almost every game now there are cheaters. They don't care because they know they won't be caught because VAC doesn't work on P2P.
 
So I heard the PC beta might be delayed, what do you think guys?

You see I accidentaly went back a page and thought people were posting it several times, so my joke kind of doesn't work....

I would disagree with this comment. From 6 years of streaming we’ve added as many people to the MBL from the BF series as we have on the COD series. Cheating is certainly not endemic to one title over another. The fact you say you’ve any / many on BF simply means you don’t know what to look for.
 
Interesting stat. Could it be that the anti-cheat system in BF is better and therefore they are caught before you get chance to come across them in game?
 
bfbc2 is as bad as cod 4 for cheating only problem in bfbc2 no killkam and hard to tell. also in bfbc2 the screenshot function didnt work properly on dx10 :rolleyes: so most people turned it of as 99 percent of screenshots were black

hopefully bf3 isnt as bad . at least normal mode will have killkam now :)

also pb screenshot issue has finally been fixed for bf3

things to check if admin on server that some dont link ips and guids and alaises most cheaters have more than one guid of same game and a lot have previous bans on other games. most people who cheat once will cheat again. i catch many people daily who think they cant be caught . with the linking even if they spoof ips and location it can be traced and linked back to them :)

The type of killcam has not been confirmed though, it might be COD style (showing first person reply from your killer of the actual kill), or it might be BFBC2 style (showing 3rd person of your killer AFTER the kill)
