Pretty unlikely though if it worked in the Alpha, plus one of the devs a whle back tweeted they were setting up a quad gpu system to see how it scaled. So id imagine crossfire\sli should be in good shape for the beta and retail launch

Why blame consoles? It's Dice that's to blame, it's not like microsoft and sony running checks is a new thing, and why not just release the pc beta? Blame Dice!
We shouldn't have to wait for consoles...
EA is the publisher, theyve more say over beta launch dates than dice do. They obviously want it to be a multi platform release on the same day.

Regardless, my point is still valid. It's like people hating asylum seekers/immigrants instead of the government that controls it.
I hate both.
But of course the pc is the lead platform or so they say it is,i bet if it was the other way round the peasants would not wait for the pc,Dice and EA have hardly said anything on the bf3 boards and locking or deleting threads about the beta.
I think there to scared about upsetting the ps3/360 peasants £££££££££ if pc gets beta early.
being both a console owner and a member of the PC Gaming Master Race i can't help but laugh at all those who thought things were going to be different.
For as awesome as the PC version is going to be, each console will probably sell as many units as the PC does, so the xbox 360 + PS3 sales together will be double that of the PC alone so its no surprise that they can't afford to ignore them.

Them saying nothing on the Boards is nothing new, they basically abandoned those Forums during the Development of BC2 at Gordon VanDykes say so and have maintained that stance since then. We get the odd post here and there but most of the Info comes from Twitter trawling.
Ive no doubt that PC is the lead Platform, but EA are wanting to give COD a good walloping, so for them it pays to keep all the Platforms on the same level with regards to release of the Beta.
Its annoying but it'll be here sooner than later.

They don't necessarily have to beat them.
Just to come close with their first real attempt at the crown would be a victory.
