Amumu? Easy mode jungle, turn on crying, hit his rage move whenever you can, read a book ;D

Would love to counter jungle a bit more but i dont see where people find the time :) I do my own jungle, maybe attempt a gank, go back for some items and my own jungle is back up to do again so i never see the point in risking it.

Something about my game yesterday was totally broken, i kept getting major (5 second) lag spikes, what was annoying is my pc was fine, the internet was fine and nobody else seemed to be /+having any issues so it seemed to just be me,... got me killed a number of times :(

Not just you, I've had (smaller) but similar incidents recently which are really annoying when you play a squishy!

Me and my brother were having that also on VM, loads of people were too. Monday at about 2AM loads of people starting getting DC from LoL and it continued on until Monday afternoon.

Not tried Amumu, will have to give him a go :D

Yea my main form of counter jungling is the wraiths/red at start, that messes them up hard core. Then on your first back try and buy a ward and drop it at their red then you can go smite steal it when they go for it and attack them on low HP. Also when going for a gank if their jungle is up go steal a few mobs before or after the gank, it's hard and doesn't always work.

I was called a "god like Trundle" the other day, felt good :D

it was more than likely the server often after a patch it goes **** up for a day or two.
 
I think the lag spikes are server side. I was watching Snoopeh play yesterday and he was lag spiking all over the place but nothing else he did was spiking.

I wasn't getting any issues but my friends on VM were, must be a backhaul provider issue.

Time period started about 4pm~ish all the way through the night.

Following today's downtime, Riven will be receiving a hotfix that includes a set of buffs that should round out her gameplay.


Base Stats
Attack Speed per level increased to 3.5 from 2.9
Base Armor increased to 15 from 12
Broken Wings bonus attack damage ratio increased to 0.7 from 0.6.
Ki Shout cast time decreased to 0.25 from 0.5
Valor
Shield increased to 60/90/120/150/180 from 40/70/100/130/160.
Cooldown decreased to 10/9/8/7/6 from 11/10/9/8/7.
Wind Slash
Cast time decreased to 0.25 from 0.5
Missile speed increased by 10% to 2200 from 2000.

Yea, I was the same yesterday (Nearly moaned at the other half as she was watching stuff on youtube!). Not good when playing lil ol Annie as it mostly happened when I was about to be ganked!

I've been having fun playing Nunu recently as he is on rotation, just trying to get his ulti timing right in fights (do love doing it in the bushes, as wrong as that sounds!)
 
Woohooo Riven buffs.

Been trying to master the knock back on the 3rd hit of broken wings, seems a pretty useful skill on such a short cooldown. Can't jump over walls with it tho :(

Better get some games in tonight before they nerf her.
 
Seems that Virgin Media are the cause of the issue with lag spikes. Was in a game earlier today and only the guys on VM, including myself, were getting them.

It didn't work - tested it out with an unregistered player and nor does my amendments, tbh as long as the person can't text or chat I have no problem with them moving around but my changes don't work and i'm not too concerned as it will improve. The best tip I can give unregistered is just leave yourself at the bottom of mumble and an admin will spot you and register you. It does help if you can post here if we may not know you but again tbh it's not so much of a concern as the banning is much easier once you are registered :)

Fixed, must have accidently broken something before I left on Sat (it did work when I tested it that morning) :)

It's not. There is a post on the Riot Tech support forums asking for logs of people who have been experiencing in-game lag spikes. It's on their end, they ****ed something up majorly in the last patch.

For those unfamiliar with how Draft Mode works, at champion select, each team has one player that is designated as the captain. The two captains will then have the opportunity to ban champions from play. Following the bans, teams will then take turns selecting the remaining champions, with every choice visible to the opposition so they can counter-pick as they see fit. This type of insight makes for more well-rounded matches and reactive gameplay.
Prefer regular Blind Pick Mode? Not to worry! Blind Pick will still be an option in Normal games.

I'm on virgin media and getting lag spikes too (on both computers, on a router). So so annoying! So many undeserved deaths and missed kills from the lag. My friend however is also on virgin media and didn't say he was lagging. All other games are fine, and even as I'm lagging, I can talk on skype fine :-/ so strange
