I ended upgrading during the alpha, but I was in desperate need of a new PC anyway so it had to happen then!

my advice would still be wait for beta before deciding what to do

Im a bit shocked that they are only going metro for the beta.

I think it's probably due to the beta coming out multi-platform, obviously the jets are not up to scratch on console yet so need some more time to make them work.

I guess it kinda makes sense as they don't want to release a buggy release on console and potentially turn off a lot of their customers.

A 560 is basically an overclocked 460 so you should be good for medium

TBH I'm not surprised the beta is on Op Metro, they've made a lot of changes since the alpha so they have something to compare to when assessing the changes they've already made and future changes.

And... It's not a demo!!

Demo = section of the finished game - the game is not yet finished, your feedback in the beta will affect changes in the final game.

Hardly. It is a Beta why the hell is everyone moaning about not getting a new 64 player jet map ffs? Those maps are the premium maps, it would be stupid to let everybody get their fill on before the game is released.
