Perhaps it is the point that you shouldn't have to compensate for either one in any stage of development.

If DICE muck this pc battlefield version on release, the first new battlefiled version for six years on the pc, all hell will break lose.

They are not compensating.

The beta is a bonus, we are not owed it.

Large maps/jets are not ready for showing on console yet, they cannot let this show upon release of the beta, therefore they limit the beta on all platforms.

If they were removing elements from the FULL GAME to compensate for console, fair enough, but they are not, just the beta.

We payed for it , can people please get through their skulls the beta isn't some freebie, bonus. Many of us payed extra to get early beta access, many purchased MOH limited just to play the beta. Perhaps it's different for the open beta members but people like me it's not free and not a bonus.

The biggest problem with this beta is the fact it's Rush again, half the time it's over so damn fast

I don't think anyone is complaining about the actual beta, more the beta 'details' to do with the same map, etc..

Personally I think it's great to have a beta, although it would have been nice to have it today and for longer! However I agree in that Rush and Metro are two things I would have liked not to see in the beta.

You do know the games probably about a week or two away from going gold? if theyve not got large maps and Aircraft nailed on the Consoles by now they might as well delay the games release. The last lot of Months of Development are usually bug fixing and polishing the game, getting Aircraft and large maps ready to go would have been done literally Months ago.

It is my educated guess.

Based on the fact that Caspian Border has been played on PC's already, a lot.

It has not been seen or played on console.

What other reason can you think of for them sticking to the Operation Metro map?

Could either of u pm me ur BIOS settings? I have P5Q Premium and Q9550 at 3.6GHz. Previous owner had 4.1GHz out of it so I know it's capable. Expect this will post will get lost in the whine swamp of this thread tho

Your theory doesnt hold much water, getting Jets and large maps in working order wouldn't be left to the last minute, thats some major gameplay points right there, woulda been nailed down Months back.

I'm all for Operation Metro! I'm happy to be getting a beta at all tbh and I am one of the (few) people who actually enjoyed the map in alpha, and I'm happy to see all the changes they have made.

I was just trying to answer the outcry from all the people expecting Caspian Border with some form of logic
