Edit: Anyone having trouble installing this to the HD? I can still hear the drive hope the slim isn't dying already in time for the £99 "upgrade" offer.

I will have to give it another go later, lots of people do say the story is good. But it's the horrid graphics it has, it seems to look worse then gears 2. Maybe I need to play 2 again to check the graphics. I could be telling lies

At first i wasnt that impressed but a few mins later once i was into the game i didnt even notice :p

Gameplay > Graphics

The graphics look good to me. Not sure how they can put you off..? What do you find horrid ?

My disc spins while its installed to the HD but it stops when I start playing the game.

forgot to mention tried to have a quick bash on horde MP today.. took forever matchmaking then failed :( Anyone up for some horde?

Now that people have had the game for a couple of days would you say that the MP is like the Beta? i.e Everyone and his dog rolling towards you with shotguns?

If so I'll save some money and pick it up 2nd hand for the SP when the price comes down because I've had my fill of roly-poly shotgun from Gears 1.
 
I've not touched my xbox for weeks and it's nice to be back on it. :p
Just finished the first act in COOP, was a lot of fun! I thought the graphics were great especially the lighting. Beast mode could be a lot of fun too with some tactics, quite difficult to play without headsets. ¬_¬
 
Just been on multiplayer for good couple of hours, reached level 10 and love it, It just works and flows really well :D

Think ill be giving SP ago tomorrow but awesome so far and the statue in the epic edition is epic :D Regarding the graphics i think there nice so far exactly what i expected from it.
 
campaign is a bit boring tbh, just about to start on act 3. so far i give it a 6/10

but the multiplayer is quite good, some nice improvements made and the graphics are very good. 8/10

Does it still spin when you actually playing the game? because mine stops when the campaign is loading, think it was mentioned in here, it could be the new disc format?
 
We got this this morning, like a couple of kids on Christmas. I don't play the game but my bf has been playing it for a few hours. It looks really good, can't play it myself because it makes me ill :( . Well impressed with the Epic edition stuff. The statue is amazing!
