Is it me, or is there a lack of gamers in the midlands?

The Red Lion pub in Hartshill is trying to set up a weekly gaming night, its very much in its infancy at the moment, but its slowly gaining more popularity. The owner is trying to sort prizes and launch night events for big games etc. Try popping by on a monday night to see if you enjoy it.

If you happen to be on Faceache (Facebook) Theres a group up and running for it. Called Red Lion Hartshill, all the info is on there, like I said, its very much in the embryo stage, but its slowly growing to be popular, the more people I can get going, the bigger it will get :D
 
try living in Pembrokeshire, they think consoles are the be all and end all. Unfortunately that few I have played against on console over here are......actually not noobs since they have been at it for ages.......just cack. That may sound harsh but I truly, TRULY suxx at FPS on a control pad, so if I think that they are bad, they really are.
Used to play online, PC based, with a couple of fellas from the midlands. Not seen them online for about 4 years though.

Yeah the people i know here who do game are console fans at my work. Although they rarely actually game on them.

PC is my home turf(though own PS3 and 360) as FPS games are better on mouse and keyboard IMHO
 
OP is right, im from the black country (Wolverhampton) and I dont know any other gamers, ive played many PC games online over the years and never played with or against any other black country person :(. Saying that tho seems all I play with/against now are Germans :(.

Although I suppose if motorway isn't too busy its not too bad, considering OCuK isn't far from J16

you work for OCuK, if you didn't play games i'd be very worried lol. Although one of my friends knows someone who works at OCuK, never questioned them about it though
