I did on the Desire, didn't bother when I moved to the Galaxy.

Can I ask which network you are on... and I assume you are still on a 'stock' official ROM?

Just got this phone from Voda on early upgrade and am picking it up from store later today.

Have a feeling it may come branded and full of Voda bloat. Is there a very easy to follow guide anywhere on how to get rid of all the superflous gubbage that will be on there? Am not lookikng to flash a new rom at present as have done that on my Desire and am having a few sync issues atm, so want to leave it at stock and see how i get on with it.

Odin a modded kernel on stock which will give you root and cwm. Check xda out its dead easy. Stock voda ran very well for me but android is a bit poo without root, plus I run 182 dpi and currently running check Rom. Enjoy.

Um, what rom? Gingerbread keyboard is stock... Try the HTC IME keyboard too

mrk what are your thoughts on the binary counter when flashing custom kernels? The word over at xda is that if in the event of a repair, they will check this and make sure it's at zero?

Worth the £1.50 for a usb jig I guess?
