My cars not been mentioned yet so I'll throw it in the mix as something a bit different with a 5 second ish 0-60 time.

2004 Monaro lightly modified (very common) or 2005 VXR version both approaching 400bhp. They are a bargain at the moment and should pick a private one up around that price.

Big and heavy but very quick, great noise and quite nice inside. Running costs are much lower than most other cars this quick with very simple mechanics. I average 14mpg (no motorway and heavy right foot) but mine also runs on LPG so im getting about 25mpg equivalent!

Very different from a 2 seater but I drive 95% on my own and love it.

that colour is so 90s, i absolutely love that. shame theyre not original wheels but i wouldnt be kicking that car out of bed for that reason

Might just be my luck, but they were always ROFLWAFFLE to insure.

Completely stupid figures compared to almost anything else.

I don't (or at least didn't when I was looking to buy one) find them that expensive to insure. Was around £600 last time I looked, and I was 2 years younger, with 3 more points and 2 years less NCB.

I would have had to have a tracker on it though.
