Okay, So I have a 1TB WD Drive and a 60GB SSD (OCZ) drive. My question is, my system build (which will be arriving today :D) has yet to be constructed and once it is - I will be contemplating what to use the SSD for.

I play a lot of games , as well as carrying out my menial programming tasks.
so, I will definitely be partitioning my 1TB into 3 sections, 500 + 250 + 250.

Should I use the SSD to boot into windows, or should I have my game installations on the 60GB drive?

Regards,

SSD should be used for windows system drive. Personally I would run games from the 1Tb drive. If you are compiling large programs, the SSD may be good for that.

Brilliant - will try and boot from the SSD then and just partition the rest. I might have to pick up another 60gb or a 128 instead for the coding.

Edit: Partition the mechanical drive that is - not the SSD :P

My win 7 install on a 60Gb SSD was 22Gb including an 8Gb pagefile. You could easily have MS Visual Studio or other coding software on there and keep within about 60-70% capacity.
