Fast HDD? (non SSD)

I would like a HDD suitable for installing and running applications from, I have a 80gb SSD for my main HDD, and I don't fancy buying another SSD at the moment.

What is the fastest I can get? I read reviews about the 'WD Caviar Black' which said it's suitable for storage, but not great for application..

I want great for application

The VelociRaptor is past its sell by date.

Ultimately, it's better suited for mass storage than running operating systems and applications.

My bad, it's just a gash review.
#1: Of course an SSD is faster, it's also a lot more expensive.
#2: They judge it unsuitable for Apps/OS as an SSD is faster, well yeah, and the sky is blue...

It's also not really suitable for just storage as the cheaper drives do it just as well and well are cheaper!
