it isnt instant just wait and watch the lower left

the memory usage seem to be same around 810-825MB lol

Btw this is on 1024x768

Will try those settings again on my 40" full HD tv

Got in a server (eventually) and artifacts all over the screen. Will remove OC on the card and then see. Settings were on medium, anyone else getting this?

Well it's 6:30pm and I'm still waiting for my cd key. Looks like I'll be waiting for a long time. I'm so disappointed right now. I feel a mug pre-ordering it via Origin. £40 down the pan. I could have got it a lot cheaper elsewhere. Only thing all year I've looked forward to...

Got home, already downloaded through RDC earlier from work.

Thoughts:

1) First thing was I didn't realise launching the game loads a browser which needs plugin. Server browser/filter from there, seems pretty good but annoying you have to click launch at the top of the page even though you click a server lower down.

Game loads through browser app and then in, and it loads fast! I'm on no mean machine (Q6600@3ghz, 4gb ram, ati 6950) but it was pretty quick to loading in game, before I knew it almost.

Set everything to Ultra because I'm greedy and game on.

Game play:

I forgot about prone for the first few mins, awesome return to that little doozy. Bunny hopping seems difficult so I think that's not going to be a problem.

Harder to see people I thought, perhaps adjustment is needed to graphics and movement. Gameplay feels a little more arcadey compared to BC2, bit like COD/MW2.

In game looks sleek compared to BC2 and it looks very good for a beta, considering it should be improved for release date!

Thats about it from me, going to play some more

There seems to be a memory leak with the beta with anyone with more than 2gb of ram which is causing people to freeze\crash\BOSD in game every 10-15 minutes.

Yeah, my game keeps closing after about 10mins which is very annoying.

Yep it is I think. Grr I can't get beyond this now. Avira simply won't let me play this lol. I can't work out how to override it.

Anyway getting major colour flickering going on when i changed some graphical options, then when I respawned the entire screen was blue

Of course the other possibility is that there was no malware and your AV just had a false positive. By applying a bit of common sense, I'd say it's obvious your anti-virus is at fault.

I have tried to restart computer several time but no good. what would happen if we uninstalled origin, re installed would it download it again and we could leave the malware. would we lose the pre order on the origin screen.
