First off i cant enable V sync, secondly why does it run so poor? Its jerky, choppy, the other men on your team dont look as good as bad company IMO.

Very poor and big letdown of what i thought would be an amazing game, at the moment it just looks so rubbish, im running two 5870s and an i7 at 4ghz .

Any what the hell is the browser all about?

I doubt this is the finished product...

There are some flaws but when it runs good it's amazing.
 
Well!

I get about 40-50fps on high/medium settings at 1920x1200.

not too shabby but I must have Ultra ¬_¬
 
Not a bad beta, Was expecting the graphics to be more demanding!. Glad they are not.

Why is the other map an option?, Can we have a go at this at a later date?.
 
Im getting 60-65 FPS outdoors and ~10 more indoors with these settings :

But bumping up to 6,000x1,200 im only loosing around 10 FPS , so quite happy :D

Bugger about the fail key/mouse button binding and really don't like the way you have to (or as far as I can see) Deploy before you can adjust your settings :(

Useless without knowing what hardware ur running? I will just assume its a HD3850 and go from there :rolleyes: :p :D
 
Installed Nvidia beta drivers 285.38

I get a lot of screen flickering, similar to Heavy Metal in BFBC2.

Everytime I make any changes or the map changes it goes into windowed mode.

Why have the last three beta's from DICE, that's BFBC2, MOH and BF3 all made me deploy before I can make any changes? It's just beyond retarded.

Why is middle mouse button unbindable? And unless you assign keystrokes to your other mouse buttons you can't bind them either.

The game movement feels very slow and sluggish. I'm not keen on the realistic camera movements when you go to and from crouch or prone, or when vaulting over objects. Maybe I'll get used to it.

I don't know why people say there's no recoil to the weapons. Any kind of sustained firing with an assault rifle results in it moving upwards unless you counter it.

Graphics are good, but it's basically BFBC2 with better textures, lighting and more smoke or ambient effects.

It still suffers from the age old Battlefield problem of dieing from what feels like one or two bullets, when in fact its was a lot more than that.

The killcam is as pointless as it was in BFBC2, other than to give you an idea of your killer location. I do prefer the COD way of showing you your death from the killers perspective.

What's the key for in game chat?
 
Anyone know of how to move Origin game installs about? Is it similar to Steam, just dump the game folder in the right dir? When the BETA starts for us commoners I'd like to download it on my lovely superfast work broadband and take it home, without lugging ~35kg of PC with me :)
