Whether this is down to my system's performance or internet I'm not sure, but I have next to no problems with BFBC2 (except for the usual hitreg issues and hiccups in performance here and there)

Same for me, im getting my arse handed to me. Im finding it hard to focus/ see people in time to kill them... feels like MoH.

My shiny new 6970 is struggling a bit too .... :confused:

Tri-fire worked flawlessly on max for me, tweaked CCC a bit as well to improve the game.

The one thing that I really didn't like was the torch. It fills your whole screen with blinding light... just a tiny wee torch not a bleeding spotlight ffs!

Have you used it? It's a free-kill attachment, you run into people and they start spraying in random directions, some don't even shoot back.

One thing I hope is a bug and I see every now and then and is starting to grate at me is that dead teammates show names above their heads... the amount of times I've blissfully skipped forward thinking 3-4 of my team were just ahead of me when they aren't but 3-4 of the enemy team are is just soul destroying.

People with similar setups wondering what to expect performance wise, I have two PCs here, both i5s @ 4GHz, both @1680x1050. One with the GTX460 runs at high settings across the board, 2x AA, 4x AF and SSAO (motion blur disabled for the anti-suck) and gets 50-60fps outdoors an extra 10 on that indoors. The other is sporting an aging GTX260 runs at high textures with the rest medium, no AA, 4x AF and no AO (again motion blur disabled) gets 40-50fps. Feels nice and smooth on each -- much higher settings and you start getting the feeling of mouse lag. This is with the new beta drivers also.

Sounds like a free kill gimmick.
Should have an energy bar on, so you can't keep it on all the time. The only way to recharge it is with a supply pack.

Does it blind your teammates too? Because it should. Then at least it has one downside, not that you'll be pointing it at teammates much.

Ultra is there as an option but I've read that the assets to back it up aren't.

Yes, and this is exceptionally fun when the teammates using it go into a reload animation and start waving their weapon around everywhere

11.8, i also use RadeonPro to launch the game, as that's what i use to tweak games to make them look even better.

Anybody noticed that flashing radio inside the red lit tunnel as you first enter the subway complex?

If you destroy it it awards you 20 pts (enemy equipment destroyed). Wonder what that's about?

Also if you go to the photo booth in the subway station you can press E to interact and it sets off the flash, but that's about all.

Well, i dropped something as a Recon which looked like a radio, i was checking it out for a good couple of minutes, not sure what it does.
