So it struggled with the 580 more?!

How long did you run it? Did you do any overclocking

I did the maths last night and tbh I expected I should be ok with it.

Turning the password off would require him to get the server owners to restart the server and change the config. Giving out the password lets people in immediately.

Seems as though DICE are trying to appease the BF community, but only the ones they deem worthy.

And zh1nt0 didn't leak the password, whoever he told it to did.

It's not that, it's the fact that this appears to be a one off thing, why not just open up Caspian Border to all testers, for the rest of the Beta. Vehicles need testing as much as the rest of the game.

As above, it's only available for a short period of time. By the time I am home tonight I expect the password will be changed (he said 6 CET).

Most people in Europe will be working now, so most of us won't get the test it.

Probably because what was approved for testing was Metro. I imagine he's had to work hard to convince the powers that be just to get this taste of Caspian out for people.

Surely everyone here has worked in a big company where management decisions don't agree with your own?

Okay never had the chance to play the alpha so this beta is my first look

If this is their attempt at taking COD players then or dear! COD does this sort of map better. Poor choice to show off a 'new' engine.

I feel like I'm still waiting to get my first glimpse of BF3. Having said that from the sneaky peaks of Caspian, now there's the BF game I've been waiting for :D
