As said, only changing ROMs(sometimes, it depends) requires a data wipe, your can flash all the kernels you want without losing anything

I ordered one from them last night, but it looks as if I will have to wait another couple of weeks before they receive any more stocks!
I do have a couple of other irons in the fire though, just in case they pop up earler somewhere else!
Edit: I almost got excited this afternoon when I received a 'Despatched' email from Mobile Fun... but all they are sending me is my free cleaning cloth... wow!

i didnt mention lite'ning rom as it hasnt been updated in over a month and it isnt based on android 2.3.5. i switched from lite'ning to stock 2.3.5 for that reason

Anyone know of a nice case for the white version? How does the Samsung black mesh case look on them?

i dont know if it makes sense somehow but i get the best gps lock with crieleko (sp?) rom. literally get a lock within 5 seconds every single time. very cool. plus it has the extended power controls like the old oxygen rom had on the desire

Not that good on the white one, so I have ordered a white mesh case of ebay for a fiver. Will let you know how I find it when it comes.
