Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

From what I can gather, at then end of each round everyone gets booted from the Caspian Borders servers.

I think it's so others get a chance to play the map too.

My god Caspian is amazing. Miles better then Metro. Jets feel weird though, too sensitive compared to BF2.

Just played for 6 minutes, now sure what to think. I am not keen on the game browser, is it normal for the game to launch in a small window? I expanded it to full screen but it is still in window mode. Also I must be dumb but where can I find the ingame setting?

I don't like that you can't double tap W in a jet to go full throttle either, hopefully they change that.(unless you can already change it?) Tried playing with a 360 pad in a jet and it felt a bit weird.

I had that problem as well. Turns out that I had TeamViewer (a remote desktop app) running in the background and when I quit that I was able to full screen properly.

lol at people cancelling their BF3 orders just because they have not got their early access keys (whats the betting they will still end up buying the game?) and then raging at the support crew. I didn't get mine until around 10pm last night but luckily a fellow player gave me theirs a few hours before so I left it to download overnight and will have a bash this evening. Alls good.

Hopefully I'll be lucky and be able to get on a Caspian border server.

People do need to chill a little on here, jeez.

The game browser is very functional. I played with 7 other people last night all using the voip perfectly. We were able to all join and leave servers as a party with no issues at all. Pretty damn amazing idea if you ask me.

Just press ALT + Enter to take the screen off windowed.

In game settings are accessed by going into a game and pressing escape.

Ummm in bc2 think u held left ctrl while in a heli and then the view free'd up and you could look around with the mouse

Yeah I tried that, it didn't seem to work for me. I noticed under jet controls the camera axes were bound to joystick, and I couldn't seem to rebind to anything else.

I just want to use head tracking tbh and if it has to be bound via mouse emulation then I will probably cry.
