Are you serious? My 2500k (@4.6GHz) and 6950 (unlocked and overclocked 900/1375) gets about 30-40fps on Ultra at 1920x1080 :(

Using the preview drivers too.
 
ok maybe i will try that, i hate the map and from someone who get the ace pin a lot im stuck with k/d like last round 7/26 - never experienced such pain...

and there is your problem, bare in mind quite a few of us have cained this map on Alpha and i along with the other clan members are killing it. Last nite about 7 of our guys on the other team made the opposite side leave.

I have tried:

Just plain using the buttons in the control section and it shows "unknown value" or something like that, and doesn't work

Using the assigned button as a "macro" in the razor software I.e. Button 5 = "c" for crouch (as key binds) and it doesn't work - despite the button press showing as a "c" in Word

I even have issues with assigning more than 2 key binds, I select an action, click to assign - first two work fine - any more the xvreen just "locks" and I have to hit escape to go back a step on the option memu and no key is assigned

I'm using a razer Lachesis with the 1.10 drivers and 1.95 Firmware (checked and updated as the latest version)

If anyone that has managed to assign mouse buttons successfully can give me some suggestions they would be most welcome

All I can say is my cyborg mouse has no issues adding any button to the mouse. I have crouch,run and prone all set on 3 buttons as well as reload using the cyborg mouse software, Same as BC2. In fact I used the same profile I think but just added Z for prone.

wife switched off the PC after 2 hours and the download now has to start from 0 MB ***** Origin, how can it not remember pre-downloaded data? It's still taking space on my HDD!!! :mad::mad::mad: So another night no Beta/

Sure it's not just checking the cached data, hence why the space has been taken?

Also, slap your wife and demand food.

After mixed initial impressions I greatly enjoyed the few games i just played. I thought it was excellent. (once again i was the only one going for m-com stations though). I even managed to finish with a positive k/d which is practically unheard of for me!

I quite like the metro map(didn't play the alpha so this is my first exposure) Had a brief go on Caspian Border earlier and thought it was brilliant.


There are still a load of bugs and tiny niggles but hey, thats what the beta is for right.
 
My 5850/AMD 955 is rocking this on High. Installing the new drivers now and will try Ultra, but it's like butter. I am well chuffed. That's saved me a couple hundred on an upgrade. :3 I have yet to try Caspian Border, I do like Metro though.

Edit: All I can find on Caspian Border are locked servers for testing? :/

I wish it was that easy here, but it isn't and it's seriously affecting my gaming pleasure :P
 
is anyone able to play this at 2560x1600? - i can run 1080p fine in ultra but any higher rez and it cripples the performance, something isnt right as i cant play at low at 2560x1600.
