OMG it's the 29th and I can't download the beta yet that they OWE me... FFS E.A I hate you!1!!! Never going to buy an EA game again.....

(am I doing the nerd rage right?:p)


Am looking forward to this afternoon, hope we do get to play caspian because i'm not a fan of rush and want some epic conquest :)
 
Just arrived at work and am already having Caspian Border withdrawal symptoms kicking in. Staring up into the sky looking for jet fighter action. Not gonna happen in Worthing sadly!
 
Two questions:

1) Do you recommend I install the Nvidia Beta drivers before playing the beta?
2) Is it OK to download the beta client from the internet? Or should I wait for it to go up on Origin?

Also, off work = epic.
 
I wonder how old this code is as well? I'm thinking it's probably from June as they had Caspian border at E3 didn't they?

I think it is fantastic but I do have a few concerns at how buggy the animation system and physics can be at times :p So that is why I'm questioning the code as I'm guessing they only have a week left before the game has to go gold, maybe 2 weeks for the PC version.

1) yes
2) origin to be safe, but some of the torrents have been confirmed as clean
 
Well with the ultra settings with my rig I'm getting pretty much 44FPS constantly, GFX card is at 99% though apparently. My CPU is back at stock though not 4.2 currently.
 
Had a go on Caspian Border last night and thats me now definitely sold on it.

Still think Origin and Battlelog are utter cack but they can be improved.

Want a new graphics card but will need to decide what to buy.
 
Anyone else have problems with the Nvidia Beta Drivers?

I did a clean install etc but I found my GTX 580 running about 10 degrees hotter than normal. (upto 85 degrees) I put the official older drivers back and it's running cooler again.
 
This is what i like, 99% usage on GTX580 SLi, that's efficiency. (Not mine)

Also, i failed... I setup logmein so i can download the BETA whilst at work and forgot to leave my PC on this morning....
 
so its 29th can we preload beta or EA don't believe in preloads so we just have to wait for 1pm when half of the world is downloading ?
