Yeah but you may well need to completely turn off all AA options and keep shadow low.

AA is definitely a big vram eater. Having it on will result in it chewing more than 1GB.

Thanks seems better now, cant tell the difference between high and low shadows really and neither with AA. Do you think better drivers might allow us to play at high settings though?

Probably so we cant stay ingame too long on caspian. They need to wise up and get more servers up and remove this password bs. For a game with 32-64 players in any given server there seems to be a lack of them.

Think I need to update my graphics card.

Everything on low and only getting max of 35fps with a overclocked GTX285, 3.2ghz i7 and 6gb RAM

Sounds are nice but it just doesnt run smooth at all.

I would say Low everything.

I'm on an i7 @ 4.5GHz and a 285 with a mild OC and at 1920x1200 Med-high,low shadows/decoration and 0xAA. It's playable but nowhere near smooth enough.

About to try knocking down the res now as much as I loathe running anything but native.

Yeah ive noticed him ranting on the beta forums a few times as well the last day or so. Only thing i agree with him on is the heli controls are just numb. Not spent enough time in a jet or changed my settings to say how well jets control.

Seems to have an awful lot of opinions for someone whos played just over an hour 0_o

Shove it in the origin games folder, go into origin and select install. It should pick up the files and just be able to play

My 570 1.2gb is fine in ultra 2560x1440 (might not be for the 64 player maps?)

I must admit im really not enjoying this game so far,Sick to death of Metro map and way too much hastle trying to play the other map....unless they unlock the other map for us to play without hunting down for passwords that keep changing il probably end up cancelling my pre-order,Been having much more fun in BC2 today.

I think many people haven't had the map reloaded after they finished a gaming session.

Let's just say on the second round of beta session, it makes your rigs squeel

I wish you could decrease settings more. Low still looks really good but I can't get 60 FPS steady, and that's on the Metro level. I don't think I'd be able to play Caspian even on low .
