As in the full beta? If so then I hope it's allowed, getting a pitifull 90kb/s atm
I wish you could decrease settings more. Low still looks really good but I can't get 60 FPS steady, and that's on the Metro level. I don't think I'd be able to play Caspian even on low.
Why are there so many people with modern i7 systems and crappy 3-4 year old graphics cards?
When I said low I meant everything low, no AA or anything. Still hovers around 50 and goes down to ~38 in the Metro area.I think with that rig, you can play on medium-high settings with good fps albeit with few lower settings such as turning all AA options completely off, shadow low etc.
Caspian Border map is highly buggy/glitchy atm so expect no surprises![]()
I must admit im really not enjoying this game so far,Sick to death of Metro map and way too much hastle trying to play the other map....unless they unlock the other map for us to play without hunting down for passwords that keep changing il probably end up cancelling my pre-order,Been having much more fun in BC2 today.
Disappointed in this in a big way.
Maybe it's the fact that a game that made its name for big battles and vehicles has chosen to public beta on a confined rush map with no vehicles.
Where have commanders gone?!
Having said that, it runs silky smooth on my machine at least at High and with AA and AF (Q9550 @ 3.4G, 4Gb, X-Fire 5850s, Win7 64bit).
Your web browser is not fully supported, soldier!
cause there hasnt been any games pushing the cards .
Once you play a 64 player map I'll pretty much guarantee you'll feel different about the game. Caspian Border is a world away in feel & gameplay to Metro.
My 5850's fly through Metro, but Caspian is eating the 1gb of vram.
