Yeh they were installed before I even booted up BF3, so probably can't tell you if they improved anything or not, but the game is running well on my 5850.
Ahh, definitely need this.
Been a pain for me today, I've had to install 4 times in all. I've been booted a couple times at map change and then I don't seem to be able to connect to anything.
My PC seems a little unstable too, so will probably wait for my new parts to arrive and give this another go in the middle of next week.
It certainly looks pretty, but at this point it doesn't really have any more pull for me than Bad Company 2 at this point. Maybe running lightning fast on a new machine I might think different...
Installing these now as instructed by BF3!

Well finally managed to get round to playing it.
With a Phenom 965 BE @ 3.2 (stock) and a single 6950, 4gb ram it's playable with all settings on medium, anything after that seems to chug quite a bit (but looks good!).
The game itself seems a lot of fun, can imagine myself playing it for a long time - may get another 6950 and attempt to overclock.

Not interested. But 'use Chrome' is not the answer to the Origin Store being hopelessly broken in Opera. So it's a retarded statement to make.
Very. Origin Store is the first page in a long time I have had to use something else for. It's lacking some support in Google+ but....funny that. *cough* by design *cough*
To play BF3, uninstall it later.
