Just got done on my first round of caspian. It's pretty awesome and running fairly well, lowest fps was 46. First time in a jet and the feeling was awesome! Will definitely be getting another 5850 for xfire though.

Dont get another 5850, I have them in corssfire. I can play everything on high except shadows and AA has to be low otherwise I run out of VRAM. Cant do anything about that as the cards only have 1GB VRAM so sell your 5850 and get a 6970 instead. I'm thinking of selling my 5850s....

Wow not bad at all, scaling very well.

This is my current setup (a gtx 460 is on the way and soon enuff a quadcore/2gb extra ram :D)

E2180 @ 3.1GHZ
2GB RAM
4850 512mb, slightly OC'd.
Win 7 64 bit/latest ati preview drivers

And surprisingly I can run it at 1280*1024, everything set to low on a 32 player server and it is very playable, if I put the same settings in BC2 it will run worser although BC2 will look better I think the way they've implemented the scaling for older systems is very good.

Next step, see how high I can crank it up at a playable FPS.

So those worrying about they're setup need to chill, my PC was built over 3 years ago and can still play it smoothly.

Ok, i've tried shoppingcartsareagoodride and videokilledtheradiostar but that's not working on any Caspian server I try that isn't instantly full within 20 seconds of the round starting. This is rubbish EA, sort it out! Either don't publicly give out the password (or deal with those that do) or let everyone play.
