Some really crazy glitch happened to me last night.

I was defending a capture point we armed in a explosion ditch. Went prone and fly under the floor!! The interesting bit was I could still shoot the people above me who were trying to diffuse the charge :D Must have got like 10 kills :p
 
Can you download the BETA through Origin on a computer you don't intend to play the game on? Downloading it at work will much quicker than home.

did you download the beta from a different source or via origin ?

make sure you have the ''Battlefield 3 Beta'' folder in Program Files (x86) > Origin Games > ** Battlefield 3 Beta **

...

I cannot wait to play conquest on the new versions of Wake Island and Karkand map using this engine !!

thing is people are running at different res just asaying i can run at ultra is a bit daft unless you include the res you playing at :p

a lot of people who have 30 fps are playing a res to high drop a res and enjoy the game play more.

ideally you want 60fps not 30.

I have Origin and the beta installed on a different drive, so you shouldn't have a problem. You may have to install Origin on the same drive as the game though, can't say for sure.

Its pritty much unplayable at 30FPS, feels smooth after 50 though
 
Caspian I was getting a good framerate on, but despite the framerate being fine 60+, sometimes dropping to 40, it FELT a bit sluggish, hard to explain.

Overall though the game runs great, tempted to get another 6950 though just for the hell of it!
