Best undies to help stop Chafing

I have to avoid cotton. For running proper lined running shorts. For walking it's harder to avoid chafing if you're walking all day.

And not even going commando will stop chafing on a long hike. You have to have clothing which effectively sticks to your skin so the rubbing is only fabric on fabric. Lycra shorts, etc.

Also seconding the talc option. I bought some Zeasorb years ago and it is wonderful stuff. Can get it at a chemists.

I was in the sports store yesterday and they were selling what looked like an underarm deodorant, except this was specifically for chaffing inbetween the legs. Petroleum free. Talc and other creams / vaseline etc can cause irritiation (at least for me) So this stuff is worth a try.

Live in Nottingham here, too, and have never EVER heard a single person refer to trousers as pants.

maybe it depends on what area of bulwell ou live in,, your probably in the posh bit :P

in bulwell , radford , broxtowe , hucknall etc everyone i knew called trousers pants.

Thanks for all the sugestions and help.

Commando is a no go, like it said when i did that it felt like i had a pendulum down there :p

Ive foun d some reasonably priced bamboo ones ive just bought to try out but i might pick up other kinds and sugestions when im out next :)

Also available in Ozzie :)

I'd highly recommend Body Glide to prevent chaffing!!!

Ok it sounds like sexy lube but it's a brilliant product for preventing chaffing, it comes in a deodorant type stick form and while long lasting, it isn't horrible and slippery like vasoline and is much easier to wash off when you've finished your exercising.
