Even if you check some of the maps are pretty open so chances are you will be shot at from somewhere. But as I said if you adjust to the game and play more cautiously it's less of a problem, you just can't play this game anything like you play BC2 because it punishes you severely.

I'm not just saying this from a point of view of being killed a lot, I've run around just taking people down far too easily sometimes, and a lot of the people I kill don't even seem to know they've been shot at.

I think a bit less bullet damage in general would add to the game, i'm not saying make people invincible or be able to sprint through a hail of bullets or anything.

I see people often saying that it's realistic for people to fall down dead as soon as they are shot at, and yes that may be true, but the game is about having fun not being realistic. People also seem to be under the impression that in BC2 a clip was needed to kill someone, which also isn't true. Doing less damage per bullet means your aim and reactions are better tested instead of just whoever can spray in the general direction of the enemy the best :P

Disagree, the lag makes it seem like people pop out of nowhere, hence why people don't realise you are killing them.

In BC2 a whole clip was needed because the reg would drop the ball so you have no idea if and when that person was going to die or a fatal bullet would find your head instead.

The funny thing is, due to the lag in this game, people at lower levels think the later unlocks are more deadly. My friend was moaning about the AEK, but having tried it myself I have to say it spits out a lot of bullets but killing folk with it can mean you are reloading a lot more often. Of course this is single shot and burst, but they are not as useful for close quarters.
 
Well finally unlocked the AN-94...

What the hell have they done to it? The texture of the gun looks complete ****. The sound of the gun is so buggy it's stupid and the AEK 971 kills quicker with better accuracy and recoil...

It was fine in BC2. Stupid Dice!
 
Beta has gone from great to poor in one server round

People glitching through objects to get kills, kills failing to register because of a few leaf's in the way. People shooting at triangles through rocks to get kills, the falling through the floor has got worse.

they need to stop breaking the game so close to release!!!!! they are never going to finish it in time for stamping if this is as far as they have gotten!!!!

so i'm being sarcastic but if its just the bugs letting you down I don't think you have anything to worry about.
 
Spawn camping is getting more prolific and boring and that's coming from playing on the team doing it, feels completely unrewarding and a waste, alt f4'd 4 times in a row so far D:.

Although 5th time I joined I as on the opposite side and just pushed through them all like rambo :D
Trying to level shotgun up is much harder with range being so poor early on with no slugs, pistol is actually pretty darned good.

played fine for days and crashes every other round now, seems to get stuck, mostly on loading and then the last sound just repeats over and over

lots of people using the wallbugs to cheat too which is pretty lame
 
So in theory, if each of your squad has a different squad shared ability, your whole squad can all have better sprint, extra ammo, extra nade and another one of the squad abilities. ;)
Gonna need some organising and every edge helps. :) I mean your not gonna be too under equipped without them, though one example, two nades thrown together, one at them and ond where they may try to run to.... I am babbling again. :)

At first when I was getting hit when clearly well covered, I thought it was the suppression system, until I died a few times. (What does being under suppression feel like? Just the sound of bullets snapping by and you heavy breathing?)
Could it be lag causing it? The same as when your character goes through the ground? Never been killed behind one of those foot high walls, though the big rocks and even right slap bang in the middle of a big tree, laying prone I got hit.

This is exactly the kind of behavior dice want to hear about, their internal QA screw around with this stuff all day but hardcore gamer's will find the most efficient and annoying ways to exploit the smallest (in this case largest) of bugs .

I saw one guy just at the end of a burning metro train, glitching under neath it and through the fire. Couldn't kill him at all, yet he was easily killing everyone else.

Don't get me started on the torches though :mad:
 
was on a friendly fire server the other night and its my gut reaction to shoot anyone who points a torch at me, my team was crying at me :(

Yeh it's especially bad when your own team mates shine a torch in your face you turn to avoid it and get another torch in your face from the enemy!.
 
sweet pc game rage :p

champion the game for months before release then rip it to shreads when they try it :D

texture bugs clipping will be solved guarenteed . its not that hard to fix.

so that will stop falling through floor general glitching clipping looking through rocks and so on. think about it logically a lot of these bugs will be being worked on or even fixed in a newer build which we wont of seen yet but others will be testing or tested.

things like scope glint and so on are nothing much and can be done in moments
