Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

The only real gripe I have at the moment is the:

Sniper scopes producing death beams of light, this does NOT happen in real life, only a glimmer, also I'm quite sure it wouldn't happen at all in a bloody burning subway with no lights.

Flashlights - Maybe a cool feature, but needs work... I enter a room to be met by Apollo with a M4 and a bad attitude, can't see anything at all.

Lasers - Same as flashlights, they don't seem to provide any aiming assistance? Just there as a blinding tool from what I've seen.

i personally like the flash lights almost works like a flash bang of sorts ,and maybe the scope death beams are the balancing product of detering everyone to become snipers?no more wookie freaks

Weird, I can't get on any server today, always full. It was pretty quick and easy in the last 2 days.

Oh yeah changing the weapon damages is going to affect hit reg.

I'm now having the same issue. The same server appears to be nearly empty after I'm told it's full. :confused:

Quite a lot of free spaces on servers from what I can see.

Not had any trouble joining this morning

I can see lots of spaces, my game just tells me each server is full when I try to join. I've not had this issue before.

it says there's spaces on the server but when you click they are all full

Even filtering it to empty servers and trying results in the same

i was getting something weird yesterday, i dont know if happens in other BF games but i assume that the was kill assists work is that you get a proportion of the damage you delt to that player:

i.e.

you damage him 15%, your teamate gets the kill
you get 15 XP, your teamate gets 100XP

you damage him 98%, your teamate gets the kill
you get 98 XP, your teamate gets 100XP

but yesterday i was killing people and getting "Kill Assist 100"

so i was killing them without anyone else damaging them, but not going up on my K/D, but still getting the points

yesterday i had a 2-5 K/D but with 868 points

I found an awesome camp spot on Metro... after the park bit there's an access tunnel on the right side, if you camp in there facing the entrance you are unstoppable.

I found out the hard way as a guy camped with an M249... we all hop down and gets 4-5 kills for around 2-3 times.

ive been trying for about half an hour , cant get on a server , it either says there full when they not or i get a generic error msg

ahh ok im not the only one then

theres a twitter message at the bottom of battle logs main page saying there wo0uld be downtime but i think thats been and passed now

Can't get on either. Says all the servers are full even when its 27/32.

In my case it may be because of my connection. Maybe it's worse on a Sunday. I only have wifi at the moment so my pings are terrible. I managed to get on a French server for 10 mins but was kicked out. Can't wait for my homeplugs to arrive.

was just in a game and got people from other side telling me I was invisible, so I suicided re-joined and apparantly still had the bug ! is this a new bug or one of the many ?
