I think I have the wrong formation, last night whenever they broke they just had mad space and loads of people attacking, when I broke it was like they had a million defenders and I only had 2 attackers :(
 
For H2H Seasons, what team do you guys think is the strongest when playing through the middle?

I tend to always go through the middle and transition into more wing play if they're good at defending in the middle.

Also, if I start playing Ultimate Team, if I have a rubbish team I'll be matched against random teams, so will most likely end up getting thumped to start with unless I buy a load of packs?

You can put a decent 4-4.5* team together pretty cheaply, ive done it without buying any packs (other than the 3 that I was given to start by EA for the special edition).
 
I haven't bought any packs and I've got an 80 rated team and about 25k :)

If you need any help Robbo I can buy you a few golds to start up? As long as you don't go PL then it's not too hard to get going.
 
I might have some golds too, I just don't know how to send them. Well I have about 50 players, I think about 30 are 70-75 so don't mind possibly donating some to someone to help out.

I've purchased about 50 packs and only have 3 more rating than Stewy lol
 
It matches the level of your team to theirs, if yours is rubbish then theirs will be too.

I think I need shares in EA the way you lot seem to be going through packs.
 
Moving away from UT for a moment, I'm still loving career mode, and how much better the AI is. Each match on World Class is different, and I'm being forced to play differently and try to score differently in every game. I'm still winning every game with Everton (with a couple of new players), but the games are generally much closer than they were in Fifa 11. I had a stunning 4-3 win away at Chelsea that was a proper end to end game, plus a couple of destructions, beating Wigan 7-0 and Fulham 6-0. Got Man Utd next so that should be a good test of just how good I am, as Man Utd as always difficult to play. Just need more money really as Everton's squad is quite small (realistic then!), and I'll definitely need a bigger squad if I manage to get into Europe next year.
 
Is it worth holding onto the current TOTW players in the hopes that they increase in value later on? I've just opened a pack and got an IF Jajalo, Croatian midfielder who plays for Cologne. At the moment he seems to be selling for anywhere between 10 and 20K, I just wondered if it was worth putting him up for a 10 start and selling him, I don't think there's much point holding onto him as CM isn't exactly a rare position to find decent players in the Bundesliga.
 
For H2H seasons I like playing as Inter or Anzhi Makhachkala, the russian team with Eto'o. I play really well with both of them.
