Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

Getting sick of being stuck on a team of ppl who wont do the objectives and try and kill everything, ran into B and planted a bomb defended it till it was nearly blowing up and i died and the guy is standing in plain sight defusing the bomb and yet not 1 person shot him...or the next round bomb sight is under attack and it gets planted about 5 of my team near the bomb and not 1 person goes in to defuse :mad:

Ah crud. Was having a great game against a whole team of scrubs and must have racked up about 10k+ points then all of a sudden WHAM! Disconnect and none of the points register.

Aaaah well, thats beta :)

On a side not, how do I go about playing with fellow OcUKers? Do you guys party up often?

I think even on high, (which im running, 2x msaa) it looks much better than bc2.

Bfbc2, all high, hbao on, 32x aa, 16xaf.

Bf3, high setting, 2x msaa, 16x af, motion blur off


Bc2 looks a little washed out to me.
 
Game is MUCH smoother for me today :cool:

But the animation flaws are really bad in this beta, I couldn't kill this guy how ever many times i shot him. Yet he could kill me easily, half the time his body wasn't facing me when I was being killed. He would even just appear out of thin air and dissapear again right in front of me. :( :( :(

On the kill cam I got this, no weapons just hovering across the water

Wouldn't worry about scores as the end of beta means everything will be reset. :)

there is an ocuk platoon, search for it in battlelog, or before I get a link to throw your way.
 
Having great fun now although I am really really bad - so bad in fact I am the idiot who thought hmm is there where the big hole appears about 2 secs before it does and well I am sure you can guess what happened next. Anyways its growing on me quick.

Thanks, only platoon I can seem to find for OcUK has 5 member in it -Judging by the size of this thread, I'm sure there are a few more who play :D
 
btw those on about Ultra, pretty sure the actual Ultra gfx are not in the beta regardless of being able to select them, this was pointed out some time ago.

No wonder you couldnt kill him mate, that's jesus there, walking on water, appearing/dissapearing, invulnerable to the weapons of mortal man.:D

EDIT: Crikey, i just noticed his name, WarriorForChrist lol.:eek:
