"often" - but not always.
Sigh.
Just to be specific, a 30stone overweight guy follows a specific diet, and specific physical exercise, and improves his musculature aswell
You'll find a 30stone fatty has FAR more muscle than a 10stone "normal" bloke, hence your definition is wrong.
Quite literally because anyone building a body, is a body builder, you get bigger you increase your size, fat people do this, kids do this, about the only people you can't
LITERALLY describe as body building are old people who are shrinking, then again, they do build new muscle cells as we do until we die, even after we die we grow parts of our body for hours/days afterwards(hair and nails).
So if you want to be completely literal for the sake of argument........ that works both ways
In reality, the VAST majority of people talking about "body builders" are talking about people trying to get huge, not just fit, or relatively strong, but huge.
Either way I don't much care, I saw some picks of Jodie Marsh today that I don't think were really her and thought this thread might have something about that in. She supposedly went from 25% fat to 10% fat in 50 days and then some pictures of her in a women's body building comp, but I assumed the woman in the pics was seriously below 10% body fat(though women are higher than mens, not sure what competition body fat levels are for women.
