So... just found a blue plaster in my weetabix

I'm quite surprised how many clueless people there are who don't know why Blue Plasters are used in the Food Industry. And yes, they are Electro-Magnetically detectable, they are only Blue as a visual aid which helps make them easier to spot, the machines that detect them are usually very accurate and highly sensitive, surprised a whole Plaster got through.

Most people haven't worked in food preparation... I doubt you know the difference between a CT600C and a CT600H, for example ;)

The blue is obvious, the magnetic thing less so, but it makes sense.

If it's store brand that turns the story on its head imo. You might get a lot more serious response than from a manufacturer like Wheatabix.

If it's Asda or something then it should be interesting to see how they handle it. My guess is "Bring it back and we'll exchange it", I personally wouldn't do that due to the nature of what it was.

Email their customer services you will probably get free weetabix for life. Take some photos, if you are not satisfied with their response you could threaten them that you will sell your story to the star/sun/sport

I twice found bits of bone in a pasta source from Sainsburys, all they offered was a refund!
