Haha yeah I get what you mean. I actually have more fun assembling a squad than I do playing the game, but I am impatient and last year I lost a lot of coins by getting frustrated and using BIN instead of trying to negotiate. Hopefully with the sales of these players I should get my profit margin back up and I'll try keeping it that way. Considering we're only a few days officially into UT I'm quite pleased as last year I had a really slow start. Spent £15 so far and now that I have a decent enough first team and quite a few coins in the bank I don't think I'll need to spend any time soon. :)

I have an Argie/Serie A hybrid so have looked at Tevez prices a few times he is usually up for over 100k isn't he? Netted yourself a nice pack there!

How many packs you opened? I've opened about 15/16 packs - the best I've had is Balotelli who went for 6500 :(

I've opened about 18 packs altogether and that's with a combination of coins and real life money. I had a quick look before I put Tevez up for sale and there were a few bids in at the 80,000 mark so I've put him on for 6 hours with an 85,000 start and a 130,000 BIN, if he doesn't go I'll try a few more times but there's no rush as there's nobody I really want and my players all have plenty of contracts. Neymar seems to be quite expensive as well from what I've seen, I've stuck him up for a starting price of 40,000. :)

What's your squad like?

Pretty happy with my team at the moment, Do need better wingers really but I play so narrow in my 4-1-2-1-2 that the only key positions really are CDM, CAM and the 2 ST of fr which I have Vidal, Hamsik, Zarate and Milito. My 2 CBs are Bonucci and Dias and they are so quick and good, might upgrade to Mexes eventually but extremely happy with my team, will probably get a Buffon and Lavezzi eventually as well.

Cool, I'm playing 4222. Just bought Buffon, Mexes, Abate and Balzaretti(sp?) for the back, but that was last night and haven't had a chance to try them yet.

150k in a pack this early in UT though is awesome... squad is above :)
 
So tempted to try 4-5-1 but never "dare" as I keep thinking my ST will be left up on his lonesome, that and I really suck with just 1 striker..

I'm still in shock, last year I used to spend maybe £10-£15 a month and the best card I got was Dzeko who was worth peanuts. :mad:

I play 4-4-1-1, 4-4-2 or 4-1-2-1-2. :o

Currently leading the SPL by 5 points with my beloved Celtic! I signed Owen for 2.5m and he's top scorer with 7 in 6. :D I'm playing on professional and atm haven't lost but have had some close games!
 
I play 4-1-2-1-2, with a good dribbler at CAM its fairly easy to just dribble through the middle of defences :D

Just got IF Demba Ba in a pack.

Only worth around 30k though. Got all excited when I saw aN IF card when the pack was doing its flip. What a let down.
