The same kids who will realise far too late that the game is actually damn good, but by the time they buy the game, all the hardcore players will have ranked up and be really good at the game and they will then bitch and whine as they are getting their ass handed to them.

Happens EVERY time.

I have been playing every night with about 10 of my clan, all who of which are veteran BF2 / BC2 players. Most of us have racked up over 1500 hours on BF2 and 500 hours on BC2.

Nobody has moaned and cancelled. We have all noted the few bugs that are there for all to see but theey are very minor and wil be fixed.

The ONLY massive gripe we have is the squad (or lack of) system.

Well thats your loss... But still your choice. Tell me if they hadn't have released BETA would you have cancelled your order anyway?

Thats what i was gona say! Same old **** i'l quote what they'll say:

"Well thought i'd leave it a while before buying, wish i hadn't nothings changed its still the same un-balanced rubbish it was in BETA, people running round with this, people running round with that"... BORING:

Because they don't want to loose a load of pre-orders maybe?

Besides, it's been said many times, if they are truly wanting to test loads on servers it would surely be more prudent to test them to the max with 64 players so that argument just doesn't carry any weight.

Same here, Ive seen ranked 38 players on there getting decent weapons but hardly any "OMG HACKS" and their not untouchable either.

Hopefully all the COD fanboi's will stay with COD and leave this brilliant game alone :)
 
I wouldn't have cancelled it. So I'm quite fortunate to have been given this glimpse into the game. For me, there is no real benefit to pre-ordering the game. I can wait and see how the game plays/runs for various friends and forums then decide.

And who's bright idea was it to make flashlights like this? it is ridiculous. Laser sights are just as bad.

Don't pay attention to goon, he's acting like a manchild fanboy at the moment. It's like the eauk forums on here atm.

Inside the flashlight effect works really well - it's outside that they need to dim it down a bit!

And everyone rants and raves about the laser sight being a pain in the arse too. I don't think it is, but then again most people I play against do. Maybe I just aim well and they can't? As said, I haven't had a problem playing against the laser sights yet...

So what else will you play while the majority of the internet plays this? Because the same was said when BC2 full game came out, server crashes daily, no punkbuster and many more problems... But the vast majority still played.

I'm telling you now that BF3 will be the internets main FPS for at least the next 2 years.

I know it makes no difference whether you wait or not but people like yourself and i dont mean to stereo type you, but once you've bought the game after release you'll just moan that you die to quick and will quit.

They're just like an irritating fly when they pop up on your screen, instead of trying to wack the fly, you're jumping, ducking and diving all over the place to shake the laser off.
 
I think the torch light flares/glare effects are pretty cool, they're not far off the real life torches. Anyone ever had a high powered LED torch shine in their face? I have several and it's not far off what the game has.

What the hell are you talking about? I've not mentioned the map or anything in my post. I mentioned buggy squad management (as in, there is none) and buggy avatar movement, neither of which require any particular map to function. What part of those two areas say "map" exactly?

You seem to just be moaning left, right and centre in the last few pages toward anything negative being said about this beta.

And as lie has pointed out, I am waiting for the final game, or maybe you didn't read the whole post!

I don't think you've used a laser when i've been on the same server as you, same with the flashlight, you were using the AEK without either i think.

Either way, i was relating it to when i played it briefly this morning before i went to work, as that's the first time i recall seeing the laser on my screen.
