You're the first person that I've seen say the sound is crap. Imo it's one of the best sounding car games I've played (once you turn the music off)

feels alright a bit understeery - compared to fm3 but its not bad

i've read someone pre-ordered the LE for £45 ? where from if so!

also i can't find a way to disable the music in race.. any way to do that ?

I started my own music track from the dashboard and have it playing when you start the game. Then just pause the track and you can listen to those lovely engine noises.

Demo is buggy as hell, must be a very early build to be seeing the some of the major gfx problems i am currenty getting.
1st lap of last zonda race, fine, choose continue racing and half way round the course, the road starts disappearing !! Further into the lap and it becomes impossible to see the road at all, or any of the roadside barriers, car ends up flipping over onto the roof.

Oh, almost forgot, had to press the power button twice to switch the box off as it became unresponsive. Jesus, if i want frezzeing and gfx issues, i play a game on my PC

my thoughts on the demo :

Liked the handling of the cars, feel more weight in them now especially when going into corners etc, the graphics are much better especially as there seems to be some sort of AA on the exterior of the cars now. Much smoother but as stated by others it does seem darker in the cockpit views, I think the sounds are alittle muffled? don't seem as deep as in GT5 especially the italia.

I disliked the Forza 3 demo but still bought the game and hated that, but I like this demo but don't think I would buy it as Im waiting on batman ac

Oh for gods sake, i still have that gfx road disappearing thing going on, on the 1st lap this time. Anybody else seeing this or is my box on its way out?

and i had to power the machine down, twice in 10 mins now, 2 poxy races

gets better if you use the bonnet/grill cam

Where is the best place to pre-order this. Price not essential just content? Game with the LCE seems the best bet to me. Any places offering exclusive cars as part of pre-order etc?

Only way i can play a racing game (bar Wipeout) is without anything on the screen.

Will re-download demo, cleared system cache and hope that road disappearing glitch and causing my box to require a hard reboot goes away. Otherwise, it will be the end of my xbox 360 days.
Shame, i will have to cancel my pre-order now, played it last night with no issues, only for 20 mins but i was convinced that it was already a better game than Forza 3.
Played that, didnt like it but the new one seems like something in between the looks of FZ3 and the handling of FZ2, which looked like crap but handled with a touch of class.

xbox is setup (woot) ...

Ton of updates downloaded... Everything I clicked on needed an update too... Started playing with Kinect for no apparent reason .... Xbox Live code entered.

D'oh Blast you microsoft for not allowing trial users access to download Forza 4 :mad:

Sod it I'll wait till Friday.

EDIT: ps xbox aint half loud !!! I did mod it last year with a new shell and system lights but is there anyway to silence that fan ?

Unlikely to be the game. It's more likely your xbox is an RROD candidate.

New install, no difference, box is already a replacement for my launch box (RROD)

Might borrow my mates FZ4 on release and see if i get the gfx glitching crap. Another Microsoft game that doesnt like my older box.
Was one of the many who had issues with Halo Reach campaign mode, i.e not being able to bloody complete it because of that stupid dirty disc error. People needed to send in their box to get new firmware flashed or something.
Probably unrelated to my problem but i have been playing The Darkness again after seeing the trailer for the 2nd game and i have yet to see any issues with that game.

Might be a ploy by MS to get people to buy another box so they can play their latest games hassle free.

Not falling for that one

True, getting back into my pc for games at the moment anyway, still have my ps3 to keep me happy also, so its not all bad.

Lol, and to top it off, my energy saving lightbulb was flashing, give it a little flick of the finger and now that needs replacing

Box that is on its way out has 2008 written on it.
And my N64 and SNES still work today.
They dont make them last like they used to
