The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

lol that exact last 15 seconds were the best part of this. Just seeing Triple H going sick. :D The rest of it was sooooo poor.

I thought last nights event was pretty good tbh, definitely better than NOC. I also like the fact that both events have descended into Anarchy at the end as it looks like its building towards something (probably just the Cena/Rock Survivor Series match against all the protagonists Miz/Truth/Rhodes/Christian/Ziggler but still)

Negatives of the show was Orton being booked to look weak again (I couldn't see Super Cena ever losing to Mark Henry two events running with that weak finishing move) and Punk doing the job again - how do you ruin the most over guy in the industry? Make him take the fall in 2 consecutive ppv events should just about do it. Seems ages since the MITB event when he was the best thing in wrestling :(

EDIT: Loving Cody Rhodes at the moment, his push is being handled really well..... que the wwe to ruin in it the next couple of weeks then :o

I haven't watched any WWE since wrestlemania, I just watched Orton vs Henry at HIAC and I shall watch no more.

Henry is just awful.

Overall a very average PPV, with only a few stand-out moments for me. Mark Henry retaining, Cody's new/old IC belt, locking Cena out so someone else can have the belt and the last few minutes.

Seems to be buiding the 'HHH is losing control of the WWE' storyline.

This years Survivor Series is already announced that it will feature John Cena and The Rock teaming together for one time only.

The Rock and John Cena together on a team will be part of a massive main event WWE wants to promote for this years Survivor Series.

As of now, the current plan is for a team that is anti-WWE to face a team that is defending WWE. The anti-WWE team is not fully known at this time but obviously will feature the “future endeavored” stars of The Miz, R-Truth and Kevin Nash. There is said to be a few other names talked about internally to align themselves on the anti-WWE team, even Vince McMahon has been rumored to be a participant in the match, but a full lineup is not yet known.

On the other side of the ring, the WWE team is definitely going to feature The Rock, John Cena and Triple H. After speaking with sources, WWE wants to have another big name involved. As of now, the two names on the wish list are The Undertaker or Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Both Stone Cold and The Undertaker are huge names and symbolize the WWE legacy. It is believed the team would only have one of those two men. If Austin was to be involved, I was told this would ensure CM Punk being on the team as well.

“The Rock and Cena feud has been featured on screen and on twitter. Stone Cold and Punk rivalry has been acknowledged as well, it would be a great fit they get everyone together” is what a source said to me.

The source did say they feel if Austin was to be on this team with Punk at Survivor Series, the chances of him performing in a big singles match at WrestleMania 28 would “highly increase.” I asked why he feels that way and he said because if he has another match it will be with CM Punk and it would make sense that the two big featured matches at Mania would all be teammates at Survivor Series as they try to defend the WWE and preserve traditions like WrestleMania against the anti-WWE faction.

From what I am hearing, Stone Cold Steve Austin is the tougher name to get to agree to do the match. Austin has never ruled out getting in the ring again but wants things to be the right situation. The Undertaker would be the more likely option as most in the company are expecting him to come back sometime in the next couple months to get ready for WrestleMania.

A Survivor Series team of Cena, Rock, Triple H, Austin & Punk would be pretty epic, I suspect it's more likely going to end up being Sheamus for Austin or Taker though

Be surprised if they had an Austin return match at WM actually as that's a big enough match to sell the 2013 Mania on! Bringing them both back for one PPV almost seems like a waste buyrate wise!

Even think bringing the Rock back to wrestle at Survivor Series takes the shine off his mania match as for me at least it isn't the match with Cena I'm interested in (got no interest in Cena what so ever and Super Cena is obviously going over in some sort of passing of the torch crap) it's seeing the Rock in the ring again, so him wrestling at Survivor Series takes the novelty from that.

Totally agree but if as widely reported Austin is only interested in returning to face CM Punk can they really hold it off till then when there's no guarantee of what Punk's standing in the WWE will be then? They're burying Punk left right and centre now and he's supposedly at the top of his career, come Mania 2013 he'll probably be wrestling on Superstars with the latest NXT graduate :o

Was linked to the end of raw, and jeez. They finally could be doing a good angle and the crowd ruins it. You're not supposed to be cheering for HHH! CM punk was the main star on raw, in the main storylines. And then the whole Nash thing happens, and suddenly he's tag teaming with Cena? And this is a good thing?

went to dragon gate UK, on Friday. Watched the last UK tour so knew what to expect. I was blown away, didn't know going in, the factions, stories, or heel/faces, but my god the best show ever. Got front row seats and 2 wrstlers landed on the floor sector and rolled on me. The wrestling was absolute top noch, top to bottom.

honestly I'm a fan for life. Wrestling wise blows anything else out if the water. Immense, nothing but high praise from me.

Pretty good PPV from the wwe last night, while the ring collapsing wasn't new continuing with the show and the main event wrestled in a messed up ring was new
