Forza 4

Rivals Mode: Complete a lap where you messed up clipping things, etc, go over the line but the hazard warning still shows? Why? surely this should reset every time you cross the line? I'm not drafting other cars up to the start/finish line either??

It's the same as Forza 3 - if you trigger the uncertification in the last sector it carries across to the next lap. It stops people cutting corners on the previous lap to gain an advantage on the certified lap. If you uncertify in the last sector just rewind and don't mess up again.

It might sound petty but if T10 leave the smallest chink open some **** will cheat their way up a leaderboard with it.

It is stupid on that track though. You can mess up 2 corners before the line where there is no possible way you can gain any advantage, and it still penalises you.

Some of the "final sectors" on the tracks do seem very long. Still, if it makes for fair lap times then so be it.

Just played a bit more rivals in the Zonda - beat Timbrad, but it's still a dirty lap.

When the last corner is 180 degrees, the final sector need only be 100 yards before the corner, not another 2 corners before that. It's bad design and 5 minutes of testing it would have found this out.

Whatever. I'm not getting involved in one of your irrational flame contests.

It was the same on F3, apart from Silverstone (go figure). If you don't like it go complain to T10 on FM.net, twitter or Facebook then vote with your wallet.

I don't think I've said anything to upset you have I?

Why the attitude?

I'm actually surprised at how much I enjoyed playing the demo of this, beats the crap out of GT4 (which in itself put me off playing another racing game for the foreseeable)
