just LOL
such a drama queen, do you think we care that you "will not be able to buy BF3" based on a beta bug?
go cry somewhere else
Fine, I'll quote this post if it's still fubar on release.
What are people's issues with origin? I'm genuinely interested. I've had no problems at all, install and playing are painless. What's going wrong for everyone else?
not sure why but couldn't get full screen (presumably this is down to beta)
Just to point out, it is HIGHLY unlikely that netcode issues are 'Beta bugs'. It's typical battlefield netcode really.
Then I hear the sound of arming an mcom, I run *round* the MCOM thinking "eh?!?" and it gets armed, with no-one next to it. I thought, hrrrm, maybe someone underground but I don't think there was. No idea how this was done. I then got shot and no-one on my team bothered to even try to diffuse it![]()
Origin is just another DRM, you have to logon before you can play SP/MP is just an annoyance than anything.
Do you think I care what you think, time to post more valuable feedback on the beta forums.
but isn't the netcode supposed to be new ?

Also, you guys do realise you dont need to use origin to access the game?

"BF3Blog has received an anonymous report from inside Valve, that they are in late-stage talks with EA to bring Battlefield 3 to Steam. The rumor is that Battlefield 3 will be available just in time for the release of the game on October 25. According to the report, EA and Valve are very close to reaching an agreement regarding sales of DLC content, which is the main reason Battlefield 3 wasn't previously coming to Steam.
Valve requires that all DLC is sold through Steam, whereas EA prefers to sell it through their own channels. This was why Crysis 2 (another EA title) was pulled from Steam earlier this year. Many PC gamers have lobbied both EA and Valve to bring Battlefield 3 to Steam and it looks like this may just happen. Fingers crossed!"

Blah blah, all you do is moan at other members posting legitimate concerns and it's getting boring, fine be a sheep and take what you're giving but don't come on here calling people whiners. Players are giving important feedback on this game to get make the it best playing experience possible for everyone, You think the hitreg shown above is acceptable in an online FPS in 2011, these matters should and are being brought to the attention of Dice.
I just moan at idiots/drama queens that moan and come out with laughable "technical theory" reasoning.
If you actually knew what you were talking about when you complained about these things I wouldn't argue with you so much.
All that is fine but i must disagree, i have no problem with them being in the game, i would even say they are a good feature, but imo in their current state they are massively overdone. You can be blinded from half way across the map whilst people line up to shoot you!
Just because it is the way they are in reall life doesn't mean that is how the should be in a game.
I don't want to sound like a broken record, if it is in the game in its current state(which i doubt tbh) i will just have to live with it and adapt![]()
Seconded.
Also Raven, I suggest you keep yourself up to date with the list of reported/fixed bugs before using them as an excuse to not buy BF3.
