Hi, okay i need either Bastos or Nene, does anyone have on the PS3? my chemistry will go through the roof if i get this?!

Played a great game last night against someone clearly using the goalie exploit... everytime i had the ball his keeper moved rather erratically :p ...however he was clearly bored and running his goalie all over the place leaving his goal wide open... two 40+ yard goals and a 2-0 win :)

Does anyone happen to have the UT modifiers for the various tournements? I played the ultimate team shield last night and noticed that the modifier all the way to the semi's was 0.4 when a non-tournement online match of UT has a multiplier of 1.2. The difference comes to about 2-250 coins a match. Unless i'm fairly confident about winning a reasonable number fo tournements it seems pointless entering with such pood modifiers

It does state 2 business days and my order got despatched late afternoon Wednesday so i was hoping to get it today?
 
Hi guys, thinking of buying this game but I haven't played a football game in a while. Will this be worth buying if the only times I'm gonna properly play it is with mates round or with my Dad?

It's a game which you need to put some time in for it to be rewarding to play so on that basis I'd probably recommend Pro Evo to you instead. They've made it much more arcadey this year so that will probably be more suited to occasional games.
 
Ah right, always been a Pro Evo fan anyways but I'd heard they'd gone downhill for a while and that FIFA was way better. OK I'll download the demos and see how they play!
 
Sigh, if I wanted to play against AI defence I'd play ****ing single player. My first tournie final strangely he never over commits or is out of position...
 
So any tips for defending, getting pwned online in UT, my team seem to lack the capicity to shoot, defend and pass.

Massive gaps in my defence when I am attacking meaning I get punished big time 5-0 last game before I went to bed with the hump.
 
6 games remaining and i need 8 points for promotion then i'm in division 2! Hopefully i won't muck up against gimp opponents which i've done a few times in division 3 so far.

Always hold back and only slide when you know you're definitely going to get the ball. I never use the jockey feature, just do it manually, works way better.

Thankfully never had this happen to me *touch wood*. Aside from getting to a final and then FIFA forgetting my progress, putting me right back to the group stages, sigh.

I don't think anything has been set up yet. As for the defending I think you should set the game speed to fast or maybe try playing UT mode instead. On UT I can win the majority of my matches or at least have the majority of possession and compete. I played the standard head to head mode the other day and got beaten a few times by average players, it feels really sluggish, slow and even though I can see what's happening on the pitch my players can never react in time.

I hated it and went right back to playing UT instead.

Yeah I get frustrated as hell playing Ranked H2H because it's so slow, UT I have no problems churning out wins even with inferior teams :|

Don't have the same problem playing offline, as always it runs a little faster than Ranked matches :) Might even attend a few tournaments this year
