Err you are clueless if you think teammate contain is an exploit. Starting to wonder if when you get owned you assume they are controlling the keeper. I have played a lot of games, and not encountered it. Its not even hard to counter it as it means the keeper is crap.

Hammering the trading at the mo, sticking to Serie A. If I pretend I'm buying players for a particular team I find I get some bargains.

Playing some games against a mate earlier I've decided I like Lazio and 4-2-3-1. That to me has:

CDM: Rossi
CDM: Cambiasso

CAM: Hamsik
CAM: Hernanes
CAM: Zarate? Cisse?

But the rest of the team I'm unsure on. Halps?

Look at Vidal and Cambiasso for CDM. Hamsik and Krasic will be perfect for CM/CAM.

Best Serie A forwards are;

Ibrahimovic - Obvious choice but you'll be lucky to get him under 80k.
Cavani - 30-36k.
Di Natale - 30-36k.
Pato - 40-60k.
Forlan - 15-25k.

I currently use Di Natale / Cavani as ST and Zarate as a CF, but i'm on the look out for a cheap Pato to play ST and i'll move Di Natale to play CF (as he has decent passing).

No, im not complaining that I cant break down a defence.

Im complaining that if im playing online then I should be playing a person and not a hybrid computer/player.

But with a team game like football there's always going to be some element of computer control needed over the other 10 players that are not in your control, otherwise they'd just be standing around static.

I know that, whats wrong with having the other 9 outfield players computer controlled as has always been the case though? Its worked for years, the defending in general on fifa 12 is progress, the team mate press is not, or it needs tweaked so that the person nearest the ball is always human controlled.

I mean full assisted because he said the crossing is terrible, he's probably still on manual. Semi is the best mix between the two though.

That's AI, which is obviously needed in a game. I just think that the pressing cpu defender lets people use that to close down the player as they dont have the skill to do it themselves.

For me, defending is now the most rewarding part of the game, knowing that Ive played something perfectly and stopped a certain goal by my actions is as fulfilling as scoring a goal, dont get me wrong, the defending press is not my main gripe, its the goalkeeping exploit but neither are down to me losing games, if im playing online I want to play a person and not the CPU. I actually love the single player aspect of Fifa this year thanks to the improved AI, its fantastic, without doubt the best single player football game ever made, i can play this quite happily instead of playing online.

I can't play 4-2-3-1 correctly (striker always feels alone) so I gave 4-3-2-1 a go and I like it a lot. If anyone has any 4-3-2-1 formation cards, I'll buy them!

They definitely need to up the prize money for winning tournaments. 1-5k is just terrible.

You can make around 5k in advanced tourny. Just keep clean sheets and score 5 goals a game to get around 800c per game. :/

I guess theres a line they need to draw. They can't exaclty make it easy to get the best players in the game. Everyone would just have Messi and Ronny in their teams.

Won a final 4-3 after being 3-1 down till the 78th minute. Scored the winner on the 117th min with Pato. Its games like that that make this game so great. He went 2-0 up in the first 20 minutes. Was a hard game.
