Same here... I find I can defend OK, but creating chances I suck at! My only chance is for me to be lucky and play 4 people in a row who suck at defending more than I suck in attack

Won a final 4-3 after being 3-1 down till the 78th minute. Scored the winner on the 117th min with Pato. Its games like that that make this game so great. He went 2-0 up in the first 20 minutes. Was a hard game.

Agreed, almost identical for me last night in a quarter final game last night, 2-0 down after 20mins. Scored the winner in the last few mins of extra time to win 3-2

this is the exact reason why i have not and will not buy fifa this year, it is a con in order for you to spend money on packs, the game has always been designed that way.

if your good at trading then you can buy anyone, if your good at fifa then you can only get a half decent team together after playing 200 games.

the whole thing is designed in their favour, i want to play the game, not sit their trading all day long, to build up a team i never use.

COD MW3 Hardened Edition is £75, i have a £5 off for tesco, so i may get that for £70, that essentially means i get all the map packs for free (worth over £40) means the game is £30 (cheaper than fifa and is the special edition with all the fancy stuff).

at least in COD they reward players who are better at the game, not those who pay more into it. imagine if you had to pay money for better guns in COD, their would be riots similar to the tottenham ones.

I agree 100% but I just don't find h2h fun. I'd rather see a team I've built win cups and progress. Its just more fun. I've spent close to £90 on packs and feel I have the best teams in Spain and Italy minus a few players. I have gone from playing FPS games exclusively to not caring about any other game but Fifa. I'm addicted to this game like no other. :/

Love fighting back. Makes you a better player... but whats up with late goals. Does the game favour late goals? I dunno, I seem to score most my critical goals right at the end.

Will you keep spending on packs or is that it for the year?

We all play fifa all year round and get our moneys worth and spending basically an extra couple of games to play for 12 months is still good value...but if you spending that every few weeks then i would worry a bit!

Nah, haven't spent anything in a while. Been buying 1 pack after each tourny. Feel I have good enough teams as it is. Will just save up coins.

No one forces players to play Ultimate Team, there are plenty of game modes to keep people occupied. Until last year I bought PES/FIFA and constantly played ranked matches all year round.

And my non-trolltastic answer is, if you're struggling, buy someone quick up front and just do one-twos with a lofted through ball until you get better at the game. It's cheap but it's very easy

It's arguably even worse in this version because now it's second defender contain rather than second defender pressure, meaning they make less tackles than before

If someone uses press to defend 100% of the time rather than defending with their own player then they are bypassing how the game is meant to be played.

Beat him 8-2 though. lol. He was horrible. did nothing but skill moves which I have learnt to deal with pretty well now in fifa 12.

Zarate got a 5 goals.

What are your back 4?

Depending on your formation, if you have wingers, definitely buy Lavezzi to play LW. I play 4-3-1-2 so unfortunately he doesn't fit in :/.

I'm still building my back 4, but Maicon/Abate for RB and Taiwo for LB are definitely the best options.

I think Lucio and Samuel are best for CB, don't take that as gospel though.

Zarate is an absolute beast, he's fast, strong, amazing at dribbling and his power is unreal. I still can't believe you can buy him for < 5k, doesn't make any sense.
