Dammit, I was hoping AMD would build a CPU that would compete with Intel on more than price.

I guess I'll let the dust settle on launch before deciding on my upgrade path.
 
I really just don't believe any of the reviews currently posted. Patch or not.

But still, 10% performance increase per core AMD says? So 80% performance increase on what we've seen IF the reviews are true? - and nearly always unofficial reviews are lower than the released product.

10% increase per core, would amount to a 10% gain in the application.


Think of it this way, in program X, each core scores 400, 8 cores = 3200, a 10% increase would be 440 per core = 3520 = 10%.
