Does anybody have experience with Samsungs repair process?
I spoke to one guy who said 14 days minimum, I sent it special delivery so they should have got it by now. just wondering. How long i'm going to be without a phone. It's already been very painful and this is just the first day ...
 
Got mine 2 hours ago and coming from an N900 its very weird to get used to :o

One of the first things to do is update it as its on 2.3.3. Video quality is nice tho using a 720p mkv :)

If by Android 3 you mean the version they are calling "Ice Cream Sandwich" (ICS) then the answer is 'yes'.

There are even some updated Google apps from it available already, as mentioned earlier in this thread, and as soon as the new version is released, and probably even before then, it will be avialble from sites such as XDA etc.

not as good as the Samsung browser, not as smooth. There aren't many (if any) browsers that can match up to Samsung's browser on Android for speed and UI smoothness. Opera Mobile comes close.

I use Boat Browser Mini though, it has a lot more features and has a more intuitive UI and tab/window management.

Doesn't work via mobile data - I get "Sorry, comic data is temporarily unavailable." Works fine on WiFi.

EDIT: I'm on Vodafone as well.

Try downloading the latest nightly instead, it's 7.1 + fixes.

Odd though, I've never had a bad download from them. Try unzipping with 7zip or something, or just download it direct via the phones wifi.

I am rooted. I'm just trying to get rom manager's rom backup utility to work. When I try to run it, I get the whole "failed to verify whole file signature" error a lot of people get.

I really have no idea how to fix it. Anyone have any ideas? I'm pretty sure I've got clockwork mod installed
