Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Guys, thought's on this one?

Apart from elephant saying the registration is a 172 not a 182. It's my absolute limit on viewing so would litterly be picking the car up after giving a visual once over making sure there's nothing obvious to a n00b like myself.

edit: infact found it here so unless he's willing to meet at a train station for it. I can't get to.

Nearly lost the back end on mine this morning coming onto the M25. The slip road is quite a tight left heading up a hill and the road surface is terrible, felt the back end slip but held it and the tyres squeeled with delight :D

Did you lift off mid-corner? Its not like the Clio to break away like that unprovoked.

I've had the rear of mine go wayward without being provoked while going over an unever road service, but usually this kind of thing happens with a lift off.

Had a play on my newly fitted PE2s, OMG they are an epic tyre. So much grip and feel its great.

However, I still stand by the fact that they are not worth the money. For 15s on a trackday toy they are just to expensive. T1Rs can be had for 50% of the price, or you can get R1R semi slicks for the same price as the PE2's.

Have you been out in a sport before? I presume you stay in Scotland?

No and yes.
I know I really shouldn't limit myself, but what I want for a car and going by what other poeple say this is the best option. But I know I could potentially hate it. I do keep my eyes open for other "bargains" though and do consider other cars, as long as it's not a 1.0 Agila =P

Was going to say if you stay relativly close your welcome to a passanger ride, though you won't be dissapointed.

Cheers for the offer!
Only worrying issue for me is the stiffness of suspension, I'm always the old man that makes a grunting noise when going over a hole sticking up in the road. :p

To be fair, it is stiff there is no denying that but I don't mind it at all infact would like it stiffer. Offers there if you fancy it before buying.

I'll ponder over it, I don't cope well with strangers! :P

Plan is when ever I ever see one I want to test drive it pay the £40 for day insurance and give it a good drive then.

Go to a dealer, they will have dealer plates. I done this with Renault they gave me a 200 and half a tank of fuel I never toke it out long as my Dad's face started going a bit pale :p

That is true, I can ******** but they are paid **********!, also currently don't think there's any big dealers around with one. Could be totally wrong.
