Phenoms will go EOL (probably have already) when stock dries up. Doubt Intel prices will go anywhere but up tbh

no need to waste money (unless you want silent system) - i have far from good cooler (Akasa Venom) and my 2600K runs happily at 4.8ghz ~30ish idle,~52-55 load![]()

Because all of these fanboys were going on about HOW wonderful BD would be. Analyzing every detail about these CPU's. Talking about how BD would switch off core's to save power etc.
And guess what. THEY WERE WRONG!

at least for today intel prices went down a bit in some other site
But I know what you saying, with out competition, it is a free world for intel prices.
