Gears of War 3 Dated (Official blah blah)

See i got bored on 2 and really enjoyed this campaign but i think mainly down to the cut scenes.
I think i disliked 2 as i was bored as hell been stuck in the tunnels for so long!
This felt fresh with a nice touch of colour rather than the dark setting the first 2 stuck with.

Yes, and disappointing. Was expecting something a little more, well, EPIC?
I felt the same about the game, campaign was alright but nothing special.
I thought this until last night, myself and some friends sat down to have a go at Horde. 50 levels later and 3 hours worth of game play my thoughts of the game had changed! I'd get Gears 3 just for horde!

It is something magical
I can only imagine it getting better with the fighting decoy and (hopefully) a more powerful sentry gun.
Well with 4 confirmed DLC already im happy, keep the maps rolling in and upgrades and the game can only get more fun!
I aint even figured how to get a sentry yet ha!
Well from level 1-2 i think its a total of 200k to spend on it. I dont think there's any further upgrades until the DLC release!

Things are never that easy. Im pretty certain we will have to grind another level out for the rockets upgrade!!

The thing about the campaign is you could skip chapters 2,3 and 4 and still not really feel like you missed anything.
3rd time I've got to level 35 with random and they all quit, one will just whore all the kills with a silverback as usual too.
Thought I got RROD earlier, but seems the UK consoles don't like US power as its 110v, sorted it now with a trip to Gamestop and a US power brick.

I cant really say much here, i just got the silver back and desperately trying to upgrade it. Then again i was left with just one other person so did jump out and let him play in it.
I think i may be on tonight, ill add folk when i get home and see who's about.
Yeah the trouble right now is everyone is trying to upgrade the silverback for the DLC. As i said they missed a trick by not making all upgrades in the game count to everyone. It would encourage even more team play and swapping of money.
60k left to spend on the silverback and then i'm done whoring it.
Yea, i think i checked last night and have 99k left so not that bad!
Id happily let someone cruise around in my SB all day but the trouble is i wouldnt be earning enough funds to repair it when they break it!
What would be best if we had 2 of us taking it turns in waves and both spending our cash repairing it each time so it would be more or less equal. Plus if it does break you can pool your cash (if any is left) and rebuild it cheaper.
Edit - that or just keep playing with strangers so dont feel guilty about whoring the kills!
