What kind of car does £33.33 get you...

Haha :D

What are you using it for? Moar pics!

:D My dads got it at the moment since my mum wrote off her car, he uses it for the few miles he does to work, and its found its way to a few old scrapper and classic events for a laugh.

Nice, don't like the wheels but for £100 who can complain.

Taken off the apparently rather rare hubcaps and popped on some old peugeot alloys I had kicked around, smartens it up no end - will pop up some more pics later on, its due a wash!

Picture has made me realise how badly that plastic bonet has faded compared to the metal wings!

The BX has become rarer than hens teeth, i wouldn't be surprised to find out in 10years time they will be worth ~+£5k. In the same way obscure models are desired by those obscure people. :)

Citroen seem to be forgotten about when terms like "classic" are banded about but it wasn't that long ago when VW was talked about in the same sense.

had one of these a few years ago :)

cracking car although i bought mine a bit cheaper than you :) £75

aahh knew i had a pic somewhere

Epic buy.

Now slam it, put a roofrack on and give the paint some distress :D

Easiest car to slam in the world,

1. Get In
2. Move Lever to "Pimp"
3. Enjoy (As the membranes in the spheres split when you hit a tiny bump :D )

:D

Can't beat £100 cars, although my golf is starting to cost me money, needs a clutch and a wishbone. sourced a clutch kit for £25 on an owners club and a wishbone for £20, and a Saturday morning to fit them.

Best part is even if it let you down your not disappointed.

Blimey that brings back some memories! I learnt to drive in my mum's 1.4 BX, then we shared the car for 6 months until I got my own car.

Nice buy. Those seats look comfy. Is the project to do up and learn, or do up and make a profit?

Just a project for projects sake really, do it up a bit & have some fun, then sell it on when the time comes/we cant be bothered/it explodes. None of us had an interesting car at the time, and my toolbox/shed were getting lonley - although the BX now shares the drive with a Big Turbo 200SX - so they fight for spanner time!

I worked with a guy many years ago who bought one of those Mi-16 engined ones brand spanking new from the local Citroen dealer. It was about 1990 and his was the facelifted version. Amazing to think it nudged 140mph. I remember thinking it looked awesome at the time. It was a bit of a curveball even back then compared to the other more run of the mill "quick" ( at that time ) saloons / hatches.
