Pahaha!!

My new buddy at uni showed me it on his iPhone 4 using developers iOS5 so he had features but no internet activity etc.

As soon as he pulled it down i told him how much apple had ripped it from android.

They need suing, go on GOOGLE, take iOS5 down!
 
I don't think it's patented so nobody will be sued! I guess Google thought "!we don't need to patent something so general/vague" :p

Maybe they will start patenting their own applications/features from now on.

Just in case Apple release their own social networking app like Google+.

I'm loving my S2 but there is one really stupid thing thats really bugging me - I've ported my number across to Three from o2 and its gone through today - trouble is, when I go settings/about phone/status - it still shows as my original Three number as opposed to my old ported number!?!?!?! :confused:

I've changed it in my profile and tried taking the battery and SIM card out and it still shows as the old number!?!? :mad:

Anyone know if this will correct itself or if I can change it?
 
been running MIUI fine for two weeks. Love how MIUI makes Android much more modern, I held for ages as i thought MIUI was an ios clone, its not and it has so much customazation options its crazy

Nope, it isn't patented.

It's also on Symbian Belle as well.

The Apple implementation is a little different so it's not a direct rip, but so what, it's the one thing I really liked about Android that I thought iOS was missing. :p

Does anyone know if the SGII price will drop by much once the Nexus Prime is announced/released?

I'm a bit gutted that i missed out on the SGII deal of £30pm for 12th months and £99 for the phone. The best deals now seem to be 18months which i just dont like the sound of.
 
Looking at trying the LeoMar Rom, but unsure on how to go about installing it and which are the best options. Any advise on how to go about it?

I've already got the latest kitchen app from the xda thread, do i just include all the options i want included in the rom, download the rom then install via the app?

Also can the extra themes, mods, etc be added after install via the kitchen app?

I've currently got Batista 2.2 Rom installed with the Batista theme. Never used a kitchen app before so thought it would be best to ask first.

Got current rom backed up in CWM, and apps backed up in TB.

Edit the number how?? I've put the SIM in an old SE W595 and in settings/Phone Status its still pulling through my number as my original Three number and I cant see anywhere to edit it!?!?! :confused:
 
Im on O2 and I want to update to KI3 (currently KF3) Ive read somewhere that the KI3 will wipe the phone, so stupid noob question(s)

1. Will updating mess with the O2 network in some way?
2. Will I have to root the phone before I can update?
3. Am I stupid?

3. Possibly, we just don't know that much about you to say for sure.

edit: Let me know if you prefer it prepackaged with CF-Root kernel as there is already a package with it.
 
The CF-Root package he's talking about would be the KI3 Stock ROM with the CF-Root kernel with it, so you'd only have one thing to flash to update to KI3 and be rooted.

You can just flash the ROM Intratech linked to then flash CF-Root seperatly if you want though :).
